The Retreat Experience
This isn't a vacation. It's a carefully designed arc of surrender — five days that move you from survival mode to grounded clarity.
"You don't need more tools. You need to put everything down."
The 5-Day Arc
Each day builds on the last. By design, not accident. This is a carefully held emotional arc that meets you where you are and carries you somewhere you forgot existed.
Landing
You get here and your only job is to exhale. We handle everything. Your room. Your meals. The quiet. The ocean is already working on you before you unpack. Welcome dinner with your small group — no forced icebreakers, just real people who understand.
Letting go
The armor starts to soften. Morning breathwork by the water. Your first 1:1 session — a private, deeply held space to begin saying what you haven't been able to say. Afternoon is unstructured. Hammock. Ocean. Silence. Your nervous system begins remembering what safety feels like.
The turning point
The signature ocean release experience. This is where the retreat lives. Guided ocean immersion designed to help your body release what it's been carrying — the weight of other people's pain, the hypervigilance, the exhaustion you've been performing through. Most guests describe this as the moment everything shifts.
Reconnection
You're lighter now. Clarity shows up when the noise stops. Second 1:1 session focused on what you want to carry forward. Small group reflection — not therapy, not processing, just honest conversation among people who finally feel safe enough to be honest. Evening integration practice.
Going home grounded
This isn't a cliff edge where everything ends. Morning integration session anchors what you've experienced into practices you can sustain. You leave with your personal integration guide and a post-retreat check-in scheduled. You go home grounded, clear, and lighter than you came.
What's Included
We designed this so you don't have to plan, decide, or manage anything. That's kind of the whole point.
Maximum 8 guests. Intimate enough to feel held. Small enough that no one disappears.
Two private sessions during the retreat. Your healing gets the same depth of attention you give everyone else.
Our signature guided ocean immersion experience. The thing people talk about long after they leave.
Nourishing, locally-sourced meals prepared for you. No dietary stress. Just beautiful food, shared together.
Private accommodations in a secluded hillside setting. Designed for quiet. No shared rooms unless you choose it.
A personal prep call before you arrive. We learn what you need so the experience meets you where you are.
A personal post-retreat integration guide and follow-up check-in. The work doesn't end when the retreat does.
Daily practices designed to bring your nervous system back to baseline. No performance. Just presence.
The Location
Where the ocean meets the mountains. Where the noise finally stops.
Our Puerto Rico retreat is set in a private hillside compound with panoramic ocean views. It's far enough from everything to feel like another world — close enough to the water that you can hear the waves from your room.
The setting itself is part of the healing. No resort noise. No tourist crowds. Just ocean air, tropical canopy, and enough silence to hear yourself think for the first time in months.
Who This Is For
If you spend your days holding space for other people's pain, this retreat was designed specifically for you. Not another workshop. Not another self-care checklist. Actual rest.
You regulate others all day. No one asks how you're regulating. Your nervous system deserves the same quality of care you give your clients.
Twelve-hour shifts, compassion fatigue, and a body that won't stop bracing. You've been running on adrenaline and calling it fine.
Pouring into 30 kids a day with a cup that's been empty for months. The system takes everything and calls it dedication.
You've forgotten what it feels like when someone takes care of you. This retreat exists to remind you.
Carrying a mission on your shoulders while quietly coming undone. The cause matters — but so do you.
Your Guide
Founder & Lead Facilitator
Rachel built this retreat from two places at once: a clinical understanding of how trauma lives in the body, and the deeply personal experience of being the one who holds everything together. As a military spouse, she knows what it means to keep showing up for everyone else while quietly running on empty — and she knows the specific exhaustion that comes with it.
The Vision Integration Method™ didn't come from a textbook. It came from years of working with helping professionals and watching the same pattern emerge: brilliant, caring people who give everything to their work and their families, and almost nothing to themselves. This retreat is her answer to that.
What Participants Experience
These are representative reflections based on the Vision Integration Method™ framework — designed to show what the retreat experience is built to produce. As we gather feedback from our first cohorts, we'll share real voices from real participants.
Before this retreat, I was running on fumes and calling it sustainable. Five days later, I had language for what I'd been carrying — and permission to set it down. I came back to my practice with a clarity I didn't know I'd lost.
The ocean release on day three was the thing I didn't know I needed. I'd been holding other people's pain for so long I forgot it wasn't mine to carry. I cried the entire time in the water — and felt lighter than I had in years.
I've done leadership retreats, wellness retreats, weekend resets. This was different. The Vision Integration Method gave me something to bring home — not just a feeling, but an actual practice. I use it weekly. It changed how I lead.
I almost didn't apply. I thought I could push through it on my own. The application process itself was the first time someone had asked me what I actually needed. That told me something. The five days told me the rest.
These testimonials reflect representative participant experiences based on the Vision Integration Method™ framework. Individual results vary.
Every element of the retreat — from the ocean immersion to the 1:1 sessions — is designed through a trauma-informed lens. Your safety is the foundation, not an afterthought.
Your guide holds an MS in Behavioural Health & Developmental Psychology, is a certified Reiki practitioner, and has facilitated hundreds of hours of somatic and integration work.
Maximum 8 guests. Every participant completes a pre-retreat intake so Rachel can meet you where you are. Safety protocols are reviewed before every ocean immersion experience.
Puerto Rico is a US territory. Direct flights from major US cities. No international complications, no currency exchange — just a 90-minute drive to complete seclusion.
